The City of Beloit, KS, is seeking a quality candidate for a full-time Police Officer.

Salary starts at $18.50 an hour for (non-certified) candidate and (certified) candidate is negotiable. Officers are eligible for on-call and overtime pay and a $2.00 shift differential for night shift. Annual reviews with merit based on performance with room for growth in the Department.

Minimum Qualifications for applicants:

Must live within a 40-minute legal drive time of Beloit, be 21 years of age or older, have a valid driver’s license with good driving history, have a high school diploma or equivalent, and be physically and mentally able to perform law enforcement duties. No domestic violence convictions, Brady-Giglio issues, certain misdemeanor crimes, or any felony or its equivalent under the Uniform Code of Military Justice. Would prefer KLETC certified or reciprocity eligible but willing to train a qualified candidate.
